Finally we're on the machines! Well, we started to learn on the old machines but the new machines finally came in! I'm in love with them! Buy me one for Christmas and I'll love you forever!! I wish I could take better decent pictures with my Nikon but then that would be another thing for me to carry on my Tuesdays/Thursdays. I loathe these days 'cause I'm at school for like ten hours!
We were supposed to start on our first project which are pillow cases but we ended up making small pink pouches as another sample. I'm probably the only one with just a plain solid fabric. It was a bitch trying to find nice fabric at Jo-Ann's Crafts and Fabrics, it was so annoying that I just told my sister to pick out a fabric that she would use for a pillow case in her room. Hopefully it comes out nice.
Anyway, pictures via iPhone. Sorry for the bad quality.
Bottom corner of pink pouch sample. Didn't have enough time to sew a buttonhole and thread a buttonhole thread shank.
The new hi-tech sewing machines!<3 onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4j3yXqnf3hiQC1Vr-HLJpDGF9PHt-kKNWC0Fh5oeFf66Ttks4gkYcAPqwpdznCu7_at0NpHXO5-WxoueDQC4hFb4cfx_bCVtuR8TZtXG2bnsbGDyl26Ea25cLNPyzSQxaRCKXflbBpwg/s1600-h/securedownload-2.jpeg">
Here are some hand-stitching samples. This one was fun, it's an even blind slip stitch.
This was my favorite hand-stitching sample, buttons with a thread shank.
I love the new machines so much, they're all computerized and stuff. Here's another picture. Mmmm, it's called Emerald too-- my birthstone<3 onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiP6eCWBGWzMhyphenhyphenbs3l3toREsZ9Prk_Fglf8hBtrf5CduBxX-4z1_04CMziTR_9RVswQiSkZHymZkigcpFAqZlGHVl4vVmhlA3K9b_XzpKLZVbaZXA9Qkrch0TMP4xeJmWhwC-iyJcSvBq0/s1600-h/securedownload.jpeg">
What is the most boring thing we've done in Sewing? Pattern adjustments! They were alright but I wish we used fabric instead of paper. Oh and doing lower bust points and full bust adjustments was a bitch!
Anyway, I'm in the library posting this entry when I should be doing my homework! Taking pictures > homework, just kidding. Hahah. I love my dirty chucks<3 onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdJrc3W6hk_8bnpQH_elFotUFxhjUa6yQaxbMQUfjffgshV-cNaNK9V2Myl3d4_zUP7Riur3WdJ8Na1j-PYwL2Zn-qofRTP-ISyRinEOlWTJA0jDHxEz3tB7VWBENTtphFNjXwcyOEAgw/s1600-h/securedownload.jpeg">
K, time to do homework. Peace bitches.
