I was bored and so I went on Stüssy's site. Yeah, Stüssy takes credit for me taking interest in the whole street wear market. But now, I pretty much prefer the brands like Hellz Bellz and Married to the Mob that only cater to women on the market. Sorry The Hundreds' Tens, 10 deep, C&C, etc. I know they have their women lines too but they already cater to men so why not support women founded brands? Anyway, back onto talking about Stüssy. I remember myself being part of the underclassmen, I was one of the only girls wearing Stüssy at my high school besides the HK kids. So, I give them credit for it. I'm not trying to say I'm the shit, but it was a good feeling. The same feeling I got when my boyfriend got me the iPhone first generation for Christmas last year, and I was the only few that had it in school. Good feeling, I tell you. But everything becomes mainstream eventually. I think that Stüssy got played out the most because their shirts were so cheap, $22. I hate seeing Stüssy and Kidrobot at Macy*s, it's just weird. It's crazy how shoes and clothes have made people become walking billboards, including myself. I feel like selling all my shirts. Hmm.
I have nothing to say about shoes because I don't have any rare pairs nor do I have my grails which have been flashes for the longest time, also since my underclassmen years. I didn't really look into depth with shoes until I met my sister's ex-boyfriend Ernest, he loved shoes as much as he loved monkeys, lol. I miss him but oh well. I think Ernest and Ben (TwelveAM) were the only ones are my school that were "sneakerheads" and that's it. I don't even think kids now even know those people existed or whatever like TwelveAM or Stepheezy because they already quit the game. I don't know them personally but they had heat, enough said. This one girl that all the dudes beast on FSF (yeah, I know right dudes on FSF) but she looks similar to Stepheezy but whatever. I think that my interest in shoes started in middle school of course 'cause of my current boyfriend (yeah, we went out in middle school) and my ex-best friend. No offense but my boyfriend already knows that they were like the "plastics" in middle school, having the new pair of jordan every release and shit, haha. That was in the early '00s, I'm old now or I feel like it.
Anyway, part of my to-do list this year is to go to the damn Rock the Bells festival this year. I've been wanting to go since I was a freshman in high school but never had the chance to. I was so close to going to it last year but I was coming back from the one week I stayed in Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Hollywood. It's so sad how I missed Atmosphere's performance when he was in San Francisco and Sacramento too, 'cause at both times, I was at the opposite places from him, so sad.
I miss high school except the drama and some people. Oh fcuking well.
I still think it's so crazy how kids grow up so fast. I still feel like a kid, what the hell?! Whatever. Time to get ready, I have a date with my boyfriend, hehe<3
