Release date: October 16, 2009.
I can't wait for this to come out. I don't remember reading this when I was young but senior year, my English teacher, Mr. Kim re-introduced me to this story. I miss Mr. Kim's class, I seriously learned so much and did so much shit in his class. From acting out Hamlet as Gertrude, reciting a poem in front of class during Poetry cafe, music Fridays, Antigone, Known+given=new, Shawshank Redemption, etc etc.
If you have read the book (Where the Wild Things are), things you would probably not notice is how each picture enlarges as you turn the page. It grabs your attention in a way, I guess. I think the sentences on each page are fragments too, I forgot. Yeah, it's a children's story. But did you ever notice that once you read/watch something you did when you were younger, it makes more sense now? Like that one Disney movie "Wish Upon a Star", they were talking about being virgins or whatever, I didn't even know what that meant back then, lol.

I never even heard of this book till people started posting about it ;[ how lame. Lol. I swear, east coast education seems different from west coast education. But I TOTALLY agree with the whole watching something when you're younger & then watching it again now & knowing what it was REALLY about! Hahaha.
I didn't know your favorite color was orange! Well, I kinda hinted by your pictures. That's so cute! It's so random. I never knew anyone that had orange as their favorite color. You're so different! Hahaha, not in a bad way though :]
