I've been lazy to blog or something's have come up.
Yesterday, I went to San Francisco right after school to attend my uncle's mourning. It was sad and funny [in a good way], not what happened to my uncle but what his friends had to say. They said a lot of stuff about my uncle that I never knew. Through them, I know that he was a great guy and I know that he lives on through them as well as his art. His death is actually admirable because it all started from a severe headache that he had during a photo session with his friend. (Yes, he's a photographer.) No, I'm not saying his severe headache is admirable but him doing what he loves most as the last thing he ever did--which was taking pictures. He was such a creative guy, he lived to do what he loved. Everything from photography, black books w/drawings, comics, action figures-- that's what he was all about. And throughout the 37 years of life he lived, he never ever did something he did not enjoy. You can tell that he loved his life.
What my uncle's friends had to say about him in front of my family and his friends made me realize how much I value my friends. It even made me miss people I haven't spoken to in a while or even years. It kind of makes you wonder who will always be there for you--no matter what the circumstance is.
Anyway, I'll continue on with my recap and stop going in-depth.
Today, headed back to West Sacramento but my sister was going to be late for Decision Day @ UCDavis, so I tagged along. I was there for 7 hours, and for a moment--I hated being there because I could've had extra hours of sleep but what ended up happening is that I loved the experience. I love their bike community, if you're following me on Twitter-- I took a picture of the bikes in front of the ARC building, lol. I know I'm easily amused but I've never seen so many bikes at once or people biking. Yeah, I thought it was exciting when I'd watch people almost run me over or even ride their bikes without holding the handle bars w/ both hands. Okay, continuing to what I have to say. . (getting side-tracked) I have friends that attend the University but not a lot, but I was reminded of one particular person-- my best friend. I really miss him and I mean it in the most sincere way. I wish we were still as close as we used to be back when we were 14-year-olds. I even remembered our daily high-fives back in middle school, sounds kind of gay but it was our thing back then, lol. He's such a great guy, really, but I'll stop before I get all sappy, haha.
To my readers, I'll be gone for awhile since I have a crap load of school assignments. (Including my 15-page research essay-- I don't want to fcuk up my A because of this stupid research paper, lol.) Sorry but it's okay because it's not like my entries are interesting anyway. LOL.
