G-BABY AND G-SHOCK,

@ 11:01 AM by jessica

Back in 2007, Jonathan always wore a G-Shock x Haze watch which released back in 2005, I think? But I'm sure he had it before we were dating. It looked familiar and I told him it looked like a watch I had back in third grade, but it was called G-Baby. He thought I was kidding but I wasn't. I had it in baby blue (my favorite color when I was younger). I was sure they were related or at least the G-Baby was the girl version of a G-Shock. Randomly one day, I went to check the Casio site. And I was right, G-Shock and Baby-G are like brother and sister. So, I was right. My point is, G-Shocks/G-Baby are overrated, now. Digital clocks are way better than analog clocks, but once you get older.. analog clocks look more classier.

I saw these Baby-G x Hello Kitty watches. They're cute and shit, but I don't think I would wear them. When I look at them, they're more like a sport-type of watch that you can't wear all the time. It's different for guys but I guess I'm just making it a double standard. Oh well.

Here is the one that Jonathan has but doesn't wear anymore... Haze x Casio C-Shock, circa 2005. It's funny 'cause the straps are grey and black, and I always thought it looked like a zebra. I didn't even know it was a collaboration with Haze. And I'm sure my boyfriend didn't know I knew about the dunks by Haze but whatever. I think we were in eighth grade (circa 2003-2004) when the haze dunks came out 'cause that's when my sister's two friends (twelveAM and ernasty) really got into shoes their sophomore year.

I thought I'd blog since Jonathan is out getting us breakfast from Gateway Kitchen. I'm hungry already and he's taking forever. Until next time..I mean, post.

fin.
