MTTM: HOLIDAY 2009,

When I first grew an interest in streetwear, I was into Triple Five Soul. But then, I got into Female streetwear, and I'm not going to lie.. back then, Married to the Mob was my favorite brand more than Hellz Bellz. Where at one point, I had more Married to the Mob clothes than Hellz Bellz, no lie. Both brands were doing very well but Hellz was more original to me and had more work put into their clothes. While Hellz Bellz was growing up into cut and sew pieces, Married to the Mob was still at the graphic tee phase. So I made the switch to Hellz Bellz.. but I know that Married to the Mob stayed true to their audience, which was to cater to women since in the streetwear game.. female streetwear lacked. If I look at it now, I kind of miss the roots of Married to the Mob and Hellz Bellz even though both brands have to grow up. I know that a lot of more older women will wear both brands rather than a teen because the style of clothing is far more than up to par.

Leah McSweeney (Married to the Mob founder) recently released her Holiday 2009 collection and I am in love. This is my favorite collection by Married to the Mob by far. These are definitely on my Christmas wish list. If anything, I really want the tan/olive green knit sweater and the blk/wht jacket, both on my to-buy list.
