MySpace has been around for a long time now.. I remember in middle school, my volleyball coach (shout out to Iz!) told me to join. I did but I forgot the e-mail I used and everything, but I ended up signing up for one again at the end of eighth grade.
Awhile ago, I heard that MySpace was going to extinct in the nearby future since Facebook is what everyone is using now. I go on my MySpace only when I receive comments since some friends still use it and I get an e-mail about it. The only thing I like about MySpace is that your page can actually have personality in it, even though I've been stopped with the MySpace layouts.. I think mine is simple and plain, but still gives you a broad statement about me.. I guess?
Back in high school, I would religiously find independent artists on MySpace 'cause nowadays it's only word of mouth and was even before MySpace existed. I did not find out about Atmosphere through MySpace but a few days ago, I took a few minutes out of my day to thank Slug and Ant as follows,
I totally forgot about my comment until some dude messaged me to check out his music since he acknowledged my comment to Atmosphere.
I have not updated my profile in a million years but it's still plain. My boyfriend isn't too fond of Facebook, so he still leaves me comments on MySpace, bwhahaha.
