UPDATE,

The past few days consisted of [no] sleep, blood, and project(s). Within the last 48 hours, I had a notebook due that dealt with 30 high-end [couture] fashion designer's bios, inspirations/inspired, sketches, and images. Everything perfectly cut with a xacto knife and mat because using scissors would give imprecise lines and look like an utter mess. Which lead me to being in a hurry and cutting myself twice, the first time I sliced my finger [while cutting a picture of an Oscar de la Renta wedding dress, sorry Monique Lhullier, you have compeition!] to the point it bled excessively, but I did not stop there. I continued, even after my second cut.

Honestly, every project is tedious and knowing that, I still find myself pulling all-nighters. With that being said, I will have a different approach for next quarter. Not that anything is wrong with what I'm doing now, it's just that I wish I used my time more wisely and it's ironic because I already spend more than the average FIDM student at school wasting their ink in the lab and checking out books/movies. I told you, I'm taking advantage of all resources I'm given!

Today, I spent the day resting while watching the entire first season of Sex and the City. Carrie Bradshaw is very ideal, and what is awesome is that SJP is the creative director of Halston Heritage (I did one of class presentations on American fashion designer, Roy Halston Frowick). If I pull a 3.5 GPA (I'm hoping to get a 4.0 but it's impossible since they grade with A, A-, B+, B, B-, etc.. which is ridiculous by the way...), I will get me that Halston Heritage "Carla Lady" bag! So gorgeous.. if I were rich, I'd buy those $600 Christian Louboutin timeless black pumps I saw/held during my fieldtrip yesterday. Gahh.

[EDIT: September 22/] I pulled a 3.54 GPA. Which is lame because I wanted an A in ALL my classes. At least I know how the workload is now, and next quarter, I WILL get all A's.
